I want a "Busy" mode in RL. When I'm trying to concentrate, I want "Busy" floating over my head in big white letters. Anyone approaching me with some unsolicited, non-work-related drivel (ie, "I pulled an all-nighter playing video games! First I played this, then I played this..."*) gets defered with a "Olympia is in busy mode, your message has been saved. Or even better, "Can't you read the friggin' sign?"  |

You could get one of those plastic hairbands and paste some cardboard letters on. Even better use earphones with letters on the headband and reverse the speakers so that they face outwards, then plug the earphones into your computer and have a program that is activated by any sufficientlly loud noise that plays your busy message. I have no idea how you'd do that last bit but I thought it sounded fun. |
