A Linden herself removed 4 invisible items with a script like that from my land, telling me i should report this person for violation of the ToS and that he would be permanently banned.

So i did...

Guess what? NOTHING happened, no reply from Linden Lab or Customer Support and he's still happily running around placing this stuff on other people's land.

While I agree that anyone that does that should get banned as well...

There is an order of magnitude difference, to me, between bugging an area and bugging a person directly. One is underhanded, invasive, and wrong. The other is all those things, plus a level of vile that I have trouble putting to words.

Della,

Thinking about your friend's problem. A few weeks ago I bought a security system which is designed to repel people within a radius which you can set. There is also a setting on it that searches for bugs, or potential bugs. It didn't find anything at my place, but at a friend's it found several objects which had the potential for hiding bugs.

I don't know how reliable it is, but if your friend contacts me I can let her know who the maker is or, if she doesn't want to buy one, to try out the one at my place. (She will need directions to find it.)
