I feel a strange need to say "LOL" instead of laughing.
This is a BIG PROBLEM! What if I am drunk at some point and actually SAY it?!

I use it all the time now. The key is not to say the letters (el oh el) but say it phonetically instead. lawl. It confuses the hell out of people.

I've started rezzing windows on my work machine, as opposed to opening them. Seriously, as in,
Boss: <realname>, what are you working on right now? Me: I've just dragged five General Manager Award Plaques from inventory to InDesign, and I'm just sitting here waiting for them to rez. Boss: Waiting for them to what? Me: Um, open. Say, I think I'll take my morning break now, if you don't mind. Boss: Sure. You bet. Go outside. Get some air. ("Rez?"  I'm OK with it so far, but if I ever start trying to rez things somewhere other than on a screen, I'm going to enroll in my employer's Substance Abuse program. Counsellor: <realname>, acknowledging your problem is the first step. So...what substances do you feel you abuse? Me: Prims. And textures. Some textures, but not very often. My big problem is prims. I can't afford a whole lot of textures, but prims are dirt-cheap. A good texture will cost you ten bucks, but you can hang out in a public area and score prims all day long. Say, can I take a quick break? -- jj PS I've also used "LOL" at least twice in public. Thank God it was under my breath both times. I'm thinking of switching to LMAO, which I'd be inclined to pronounce in pseudo-Vulcan, e.g. L'Mao. I think that would make me sound slightly more cosmopolitan. Somehow, Ell-Em-Ay-Oh sound kind of backwoodsy. And I'm all about impressing the ladies. |

Lo, don't feel bad. Today at work a collegue was complaining about a really rude person we have to deal with on a daily basis. I said to her, "Just neg rate him!" It came flying out of my mouth before I had a chance to think about what I was saying! She just looked at me and said, "Okaaaaaaay...".

I use "k" frequently in RL, and recently "gah!" I used to *think* "lol" when I laughed, but I seem to be over that, and a couple times I've actually said "w00t" out loud
it's k tho, people expect funny noises from me, lol w00t! _____________________

Ok, I have found myself when watching tv, wanting to have control of the camera so I can view the whole area. I actually tried to do this with the remote once and wondered what the hell I was trying to do. Sad Sad... lol
I also say 'woot' but I have said that since I was like 7...maybe I actually invented 'woot' , who knows. ;P When driving around town I find myself wondering how much land people own and how many prims it can handle. This one house by me seems to have a lot of prim space because they have about 10 garden gnomes, 5 gooses, benches, chairs, a picnic table, more flowers than a garden center, some lawn globes, birdbaths...etc etc. It's pretty ridiculous. You should see it during Halloween and Christmas. These people must own the electric company. _____________________

Oh wow this is sad I just noticed...I don't post often in the SL forums...mainly becuase I don't want to be in any sort of an argument, especially between two friends. This isn't really related to using SL vocabulary and language in r/l, but I have found myself looking at a picture on a web-page, and then alt-left-mousing it so that I can rotate my camera view around to see the other side.
