i mean the stars you rate posts with. there's no way to give a bad rating. you can rate it "terrible" but that gives it one star, which is one star more than a completely unrated post! that means the worst possible rated post will still have one gold star. since when do you give one gold star to something terrible? are all the posts with no stars supposed to be worse than the terrible posts with one star?
we need a way to give bad ratings to posts, like 1-5 skulls or 1-5 frowny faces or something. this is an important issue and not just something frivolous that i'm spending way too much thought on. honest. um.........

I for one are very glad that the stars are messed up...
