Yeah, just wanted to contribute to the hype.

I plan to use all of the resources available on the web to sell things, let the people who are currently interested in covering each other with SLExchange sauce and roasting slowly over the blazing forum fire to just get a room and hash it out.

So Blaze, how about just putting a well made prim ball-gag in it, eh?

Same for you Ulrika.

Apoth - I don't want to know, and now I'm pretty sure I'll never know.

Merwan, cmon man, lets just take it out to the telephone or the legal system eh?
I mean, really, anytime I see a SLExchange topic its like:

"Fuh-fuh-fuh SLExchange, fuh-fuh-fuh-money fuh-fuh-fuh boycott fuh-fuh-fuh"

Yeah, we get it -- okay? Your carpet-bomb has been received, and uh...well, I'll leave it up to everyone else if they really care or not. Way to go guys, you really pounded this one into the carpet.

Get a room, get a lawyer, get something -- just get out of General, KTHX, your fifteen minutes is *way* over.

Yeah I agree. I've seen this topic mentioned so many times in the past week I can barely even visit the forums anymore. To be honest I don't even know 100% what is going on with it and why the merchants weren't the only ones notified in world or through email of what was going on . .. its been pulled is so many directions that its just a mess and a joke at this point.

Really though it is convienent to shop on the website ,but if I had to go back to shopping in world it wouldn't break my heart.

I would also like to say that at liest there is thoughts to Maxx's point, while blaze's counterpoint was nothing more than a generalized grunt.

I guess SL is just like RL. People love a trainwreck. Sad that all the positive stuff happening in SL is being overwhelmed by this kind of stuff.

Sad situation. But Maxx's post made me laugh. Thanks Maxx.

P.S. Maxx, you might remember me as my previous avatar, Zero Medici. FYI, your Megascraper is still rezzed in Pomponio. I still get people telling me how much they dig it. Hope you're still doing creative stuff in SL.

And possibly STOP spamming me with notecards telling me to withdraw my products from SLexchange, i will NOT, because more than everything else, i spent and still spend several hours listing my products there and don't want this effort to be wasted. SLexchange is not only apotheus' or merwan's work, it's the result of the sum of the work of many designers that spent time and effort listing their products there. This said, as much as i respect Merwan, i can't care the less about this catfight, get a lawyer, solve it wrestling in the mud or whatever, but please let merchants be and do their job without further disturbances.

Yes, another cost of doing business - time and effort. :-)

Oh, and I have not dropped note cards on anyone in game regarding pulling products from SLEx.

Fuh-Fuh-Fuh On.

From this, I find it amazing that the guy who is *supposed* to be at the center of all this impending crisis is taking it far better than the people on the polar ends of the conflict.

Shiryu,

<<because more than everything else, i spent and still spend several hours listing my products there and don't want this effort to be wasted.>>

This could be interpreted by the uncharitable as meaning, "The main thing so far as I am concerned is not the moral issue involved, but selling my products."

I think all traders currently using slexchange should be aware of the dangers of being associated with the enterprise.

Most drama in SL needs to end, Maxx's statement is hopefully along those lines, the boycotting is funny cause... well, as another pointed out, SLEx is just a provider, boycots would hurt the users of SLEx more than SLEx itself, then again, I don't know commerce... though neither does the person spamming others with notecards... especially since she has her own web site in the works. ahh SL forums, drama embodied, glad I don't come here unless I have something I feel is worth saying.

And what exactly are those dangers? (beside being spammed with notecards)
SLexchange is functioning regularly, sales profits are withdrawn without any problems.
Merwan himself told he doesnt want to be associated to any boycott operation, because he wants to solve things privatedly, so the ones doing them are doing for their own interests, and i am not interested in jeopardizing my work at the advantage of someone's private interests.
SLexchange has always been (and it still is) an efficent service, so i will continue to use as long as this efficency stays.

Wow, Ulrika is at it again.

Well, its time for this thread to resurface, as a mockery of all these ridiculous spam threads.

Fuh-Fuh-Fuh-SLExchange-Fuh-Fuh-Fuh

That's all we read when we see a post on the topic, Ulrika. See the store shelves laden with clues, waiting for you to buy one and go home? Thats right, go ahead....yes.....get a CLUE.
