Is spamming the forum on 2 accounts punishable?

And if not, can it be?

I'm tired of Alby Yellowknife / Wall Street and others like him spamming the forum with the exact same viewpoints with twice the posts to read through. Forum spamming is against the TOS and this should be reportable as abuse, no?

I am not Alby, and I have reported you for abuse (libel) by coming flat out and saying I am. We'll let the courts decide this one, Mr. Potato-head.

I have presenting clear evidence why you two are the same person in your "Museum of Griefers" attack thread. I think it's obvious you are the same person. And I never demeaned you for doing so; it's within your rights to have both players and post with both players.

The negative aspect to my comments regarding this are specifically because the way you do this is forum spamming - you are reposting the same things twice with your two toons. There is nothing wrong with pointing out public abuse in the same forum, and I doubt very much Linden Lab will do anything more than file your abuse report under "s" for superfluous.

I've heard tell of several Alts who suck, and who like to be abused... but that's another story for an M sim.

I think the punishment should be that they guilty should wear a Banaphone for 3 days, and not be allowed to turn it or the sound off.

I too believe that Wall Street and Alby are one in the same. It is entirely possible that they not only share the same ip address but the same body. Wall Street might not even know Alby if you know what I mean.

I know alts might suck in some ways, but they are important to me as a tool for file and contact management. I've sometimes responded as one of two alts on the forum, but not intentionally to get twice the speaker's room. It is just that I don't pay much attention to who I am logged in as since privacy isn't so much my alt issue. I use one alt to design undisturbed (I never change cards or rate with that alt and she is confined to the sandbox with nothing but texture files in her closet and two changes of clothes, poor thing). I use one Alt to host events and make money (she has tons of social contacts and mostly notecards and clothing in her inventory) and a third alt for meeting with newbie friends to help them transition to SL. This controls the IMS I get in those avies to make them manageable and somewhat activity or social group specific. I do this not to harm people or be furtive, but simply so that I can be more efficient at the task at hand.

I COULD list my alts on my profile (that is, i'm not hiding from stalkers or whatnot) but why should I if it will decrease my efficiency?
