*laugh* thanks for the replies - I was just bored last night at work and wondered 'what if?'
I'm glad it was received with the humor that was intended ![]() Siggy. _____________________

Things should be running a little smoother now that we've stopped the TribesVengance server on the database machine. Oh yeah, and my attempt to recompile the boost libs under gcc-3.3.4 on the login server is finally complete.
Sorry for the inconvenience. By the way, I'm still running a genetic optimizations search on compile options for our backend servers on one of the simulator nodes. I forget which one it is, but if your sim is feeling a little sluggish over the next week or so then yeah, its probably that one. All of the other developers feel constrained to stay on our internal farm of linux stations, but I've found this huge pool of CPU cycles over in our co-location facility... |

ROFL! I like you. (er. You know... completely platonically of course, and nevermind the fact I never met you!) ![]() Andrew is good value - helpful, humorous, and what I would refer to as "wicked smart". The ability to look back at things and laugh at situations and yourself is a character trait I admire in all who possess it. Siggy. _____________________

Can we get a sticky on this so its the first thing people read when the come to this forum? I think it will help a lot more than the "Be Excellent to One Another!" Bill & Ted post at the top.
Andrew, let me know when that calculation prediction on the mutation to the human genome is done for me, kthxbye. -Flip _____________________

And that explains Aleph pretty well, Andrew... Unlike so many at this point, I'm damn glad I wasn't drinking a soda when I read this, this was too good XD |

Yay, Siggy! Your family is welcome in my lava pit anytime, mister.
My faith in the forums is restored, at least for the moment. Hiro, I think we should wait on that mass boycott. An ounce of wit is worth a pound of grief(ing). |
