It's great! Kinda weird, but a welcome change from the blandness of most soft drinks.
It tastes like... marzipan. Spicey. What the heck is in it, anyway? My girlfriend's brother brought me some from the far southern reaches of Portugal... we have a shitload of tourists there, so apparently some stores carry fancy foreign products. I have another can. I'm saving it for a special occasion  _____________________

Dr Pepper is the best! My favorite anyway....all too common here. I live in the US, and I went to Chicago once and I couldn't get it....weird. At least in the US it seems to be a west coast/southern flavor thing.

Dr Pepper is awesome, unless the fizz runs out of it. then it sucks.
 Our Dr Pepper bottler in my area isn't the best, IMHO...but it's a great change from the cola fix..._____________________

Dr. Pepper was invented in Texas in 1885. The first investor, who opened the first bottling plant in Dublin, Texas was named, curiously, Sam Houston Prim.
What makes it different is the use of pure cane sugar. High cost of sugar forced them to start using high fructose corn syrup in the 1970's. Here in Texas it is popular to buy Dr. Pepper that is made in Mexico because it is still made with real sugar. Dr. Pepper History |

At least in the US it seems to be a west coast/southern flavor thing. I know one or two people who like Dr. Pepper. They are the same that like Mister Pib the Coke product like Dr. Pepper. I live out in Chicago land and most stores have it. Few restaurants have it. If they have a product like it, most likely it will be Mr Pib because Coke has it’s nasty hand in all the restaurants. Funny thing Chicago is the #1 seller of Orange flavored Pop, at least was 5 years ago. I use to work for a drink dispenser company so we had all the info we wanted on Pop. Pop = Soda = Soda pop = carbonated beverage = coke I am trying to point out two things. #1 Chicago does have it and it’s not to hard to find just go to a gas station or store and you got it. #2 For people out side the US that like it they may want to look for Mr Pib because it is by Coke and more likely to be sold around the world. And Mr Pib is of the same vain just as Coke/Pepsi/RC is of the same vain but not the same thing. We used to have that here, was clear wasn't it? New Diet Coke with Lime rocks, I can't stop drinking it! oh and I used to refuse to drink Dr Pepper when I was a kid, i was convinced it tasted like pepper, I mean honestly when your young what are you sposed to think!!! We don't get Mountain Dew here anymore, or at least I don't see it _____________________

http://www.popsoda.com I don’t know if they like to ship out of the USA but Money talks!! Tab is still out there. It is the diet pop made by RC bottling. Tab does not use chemicals to sweeten like other diets, it uses Splenda (made from sugar) and it is sodium free. Really not to bad. Depending on the flavor you get. _____________________

Anyone ever try MOXIE???? Its gross...tastes like fizzy ashes. After years of curiousity, I finally found a bottle of that stuff. I thought it tasted like cola spiked with Angostura bitters. Not horrible IMHO, but I don't think Coke or Pepsi have anything to worry about.  Come to think of it, Eggy is right- Dr. Pepper does kinda taste like marzipan. _____________________
