Charlotte, I would advise removing that post. I've spoken with Secret Service agents in a class I took in High School and they investigate EVERY threat they hear about, joking or no.

It's not paranoia if it's true. :)

Or, as someone once explained to me: if it's presented as a joke but is in fact a double-fake-out which IS true, which is set up in such a way as to "trick the government into believing it's not true". Which of course, might be the truth unto itself. But how true is that? I don't know.

Cool. Will they come to the UK to see us especially? I could do with a laugh, and doing it at the expense of paranoid Merican assholes is good enough for me!

So what did you say, Charlotte? I wanna know! Edit it back! (I'm pretty damned sure you're safe from the Secret Service in Crewe :p)

/waves to Secret Service. Hello! I'm a terrorist! I'm gonna, um, drive a milk float packed with C4 into the White House and blow that stoopid moron up! Yeah, thats it. My plan is already in action (I'm unloading the milk from the milk float as I write).

*waits to see how long it is til someone says they called the Secret Service on me*

It couldn't be a more glorious time for America.. No more 60s hippies with any more power left in Washington. Nancy Pelosi is just a bag of wind and Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid is an unknown nobody. This is the Golden Era

Where did our goverment for ALL of the people go? Oh right, terroism. War. Nothing to see here. Move along. 48% STFUAD cuz were right and we're on a mission from God!

Pfft. America will rewrite history however they see fit anyway. Look at the 'historical accounts' of the US's role in WWII! Oh, and of course stuff like your own assertion that you 'kicked out you Brits in 1776'.

Welllll, the US job in Europe would have been near nigh impossible without the Brits in WWII, at least in the Atlantic theater. And don't forget Bletchley Park (which got a huge boost from some Polish cryptographers to be honest, at least in the beginning).

Not sure how one could denigrate the US role in WWII. Was the US all that and a bag of chips, hell no, but American history books tend to be rather thankful of the allies.

As for 1776, well, eventually the British realized that it wasn't worth trying to maintain control over America, but that didn't happen out of the goodness of the British Empire's heart. Still, seems to have worked out for the best for both sides. Course Mexico and the Native Americans didn't fare so well.

Britian is not part of continental Europe. As such, it has always [itself] recognized the fact it is unique and distinct. It shares the best of both worlds: The ability to be recognized as a part of Europe and a strong alliance with the United States.

I'd take the US as an ally any day over those small, squabbling, and often petty quasi-city states the rest of the world recognizes as the nations of Europe.

P.S. - I am not a Bush supporter.

So I guess I shouldn't say something like "KILL PRESIDENT WITH BOMB" or "NUCLEAR HEROIN JIHAD" in public forums, huh? :D

We all perceive Bush as ingnorant. That couldn't be further from the truth. Dont understimate Bush. He's on a mission from God, and has a plan up his sleeves that we may not want to admit is there because we are making fun of the man. He's carrying a big stick, and isn't afraid to use it. To the detriment of Americans everywhere.
