Yea, you folks didn't enter in closed beta, you came in Open Beta, therefore, your name didn't make it. I believe you were included in 'and Everyone Else'

Funny note on that my kid was looking over the names, he is 7, and was trying to pronouce them. I could not for the life of me pronounce some of them for him. It must be me having a redneck tongue or something..LOL

No they didn't decide which names were on the poster on whether you were in closed beta or not. Darth Jones(RL friend) isn't on there and he joined near when I did.

My guess is that if you were active a lot. They put down names of people that were in the beta that were mostly active in Lime or something near there. I am thinking they did something like what they did on that wall.

btw it's a cool poster! Gonna hang it up over my computer so I never forget this great place.

i got mine today. well yesterday but i wasn't home so i had to pick it up.

"Your World. Your Imagination." that's a big change from "You're in our world now" which a certain game thinks will make people want to play. um...i guess it worked for a few hundred thousand people but still...poop on them.

i also got 2 copies of the commemorative letter with mine so the second one will be on eBay tomorrow. just kidding hehe.

I thought it was a list of the people who signed up for the initial lifetime membership offering in beta?

hehe I didn't mean if you were in Lime lol. I meant they had a wall or something in Lime with all the active beta testers listed there as a memorial kinda like the vietnam memorial in D.C. anyways, I don't think it's if you get the lifetime memership. I didn't and still got on while Darth got lifetime and didn't get on.

Although... Maybe it was people who converted their account before June 23rd. Darth didn't I don't think but I did. I'll go look on the poster and see if anything eliminates the new theory.

Although the easiest method is if a linden just tells us! lol

It is; at least, that's the best reason I can think of, seeing as how I'm on it.

Edit: Misread your post; it's a list of people that converted their beta accounts to paid memberships before the 23rd, regardless of the payment plan. I used the 3-month plan. Look through the Announcements forum; I think the announcement regarding the posters is on the second page.

i think the names on the poster are just very active or influential beta testers. i recognize every name on it as a "famous" person even tho i've only met maybe a third of them.

lol, But many thanks to the Lindens for the poster, having my Av's name on a poster is much better than the things some game companies do for their testers! (such as pewter lapel pins and cheesy polyester maps that you can't even read...
