Mmmkay. I had posted a bit about this idea in this thread:

/120/11/30367/1.html

I figured since no Lindens replied to that thread, I'd just go ahead and try to set something up on my own as a test to see how difficult it is.

I gave myself a crash course in how to set up a shoutcast server, broadcast tools, and sound card mixing. I've never done this before, so we'll see if it works, eh? :P I apologize in advance for any glitches...

my shoutcast station: http://zero.hastypastry.net:9000
my Skype name: PrototypeTalkRadio (all one word)
my AIM name (in case Skype is flakey): DangerJohn3

Everything is running. I'm also ripping the stream from the station so I can save the audio files and review them later.

I'll be "on the air" for about 5 more hours. If someone would like to call me on Skype (www.skype.com) or AIM me to see how this works, please do!

(I'm playing audio files from Dr. Seuss videos right now :P )

Woop...had one caller. Well, not a caller...I chatted via text. Skype also supports text chat. Nice to chat with you Heather!

Streaming the audio from The Grinch right now (the original animated version). My favorite holiday cartoon. If anyone is listening, I hope you like it...and please give me a call if you like. :)
