Why is it...?

Rose and Barmovic, I totally understand and perhaps I wasn't clear enough. What I mean is if someone indicates that they are on an alt account, after having been suspended from the forums for a length of time. This happened yesterday, and I see that as rubbing it in. I think in those cases, which I have now seen twice in the past 2 months, where the suspended person simply comes back, doesn't hide the fact that they were suspended, and in fact admits to it, that account needs to be suspended as well. I am not asking that an IP or credit card be suspended (proactively) anytime a person is suspended from the forums. And let's face it, it is just the forums we are talking about here, not in-world or anything. It's not going to kill anyone to not be able to use the forum for 3 days. Hope that clears things up.

You are right, of course, Nolan. If someone actually brags about it, it does seem that the bragging alt should join the ban, if only for appearances sake. Its probable that another, more concealed, alt will immediately be substituted, but at least it'll stop the bragging, and make other posters feel better.

We don't want to pay for Linden staff to keep trawling every forum for hints of such bragging though, do we?

So its up to those who feel strongly, to immediately report such behaviour, don't you think, naming names and giving links to posts as evidence? Anybody done that ?

Incidentally, people, did I miss the actual evidence of the bragging alts ?

Could someone please link me to the post in which names are quoted and evidence referenced ?

Or if it doesn't exist, could someone post this information,please ?

How many instances of such bragging can we evidence with certainty ?
