 ), however, I truly think the answer to your dating needs is right in front of your eyes, you are just overlooking it. Is there something in SL that is structured and formalized, in a professional way (define that how you will), to be like a MATCH.COM ? Obviously there are those who have found love inworld, and in some cases, have met each other IRL too. I could likely see it being extended and developed further as SL's popularity increases. However, no doubt, issues of consent would come into play, especially with those who are in SL to "escape 1st life" and do not want to give out any personal information. So it comes down to individual disclosure for those who are interested in "Internet dating" or whatever they're calling it nowadays.
