Now.. on to the Lance - Louis controversy pertinent to this thread... Hey. what's the big deal? I screw up names all the time myself.. still, I don't think that I would have mixed those two up. Then again, you either believe billy or you don't. If you don't, don't. What's the big deal? He has a track record - evaluate it for yourselves as individuals. I agree i think moisant is just for the oldies korg lol! But you do know that the airport is officially called louis armstrong international airport (im sure you do.. everyone got upity when rumors were circulating about kenner wanting the airports bid because it is physically in kenner..but around the airport its considered new orleans..but its really in kenner.. and new orleans police patrol it..hmm yay for louisiana!) |

Billy,
I think it is great what you are trying to do. However, I would recommend that you speak with Jade Lily about her experiences regarding accepting donations in the name of a specific charity. She was rebuffed by the American Cancer Society ( I believe, I could have the wrong organization) for various reasons, and you might run into the same problems she did.
As far as the issues raised about Billy's credibility, it is up for the individual donating to decide on the credibility of any organization or person they donate to, in any circumstance. I have had a long standing business relationship and friendship with Billy and have found him to be extremely honest and a good person. He is not a saint, but then SL doesn't have any of those anyway. Good luck to you.

"Billy" is not a thief. He is one of the most generous people I ever knew, money is no object to him. He is very financially secure (sorry Billy lol), so a few $k to however much he earns, in Linden dollars would mean nothing to him in the sense of pocketing and running away. He is a good guy, people need to stop talking crap about him because they had a fall out with him for some petty reason. It has nothing to do with this. Anyways Billy since I got paid tonight I will donate to your charity, after all, all the lindens you gave away at events, and when you helped me when I was down, it's the least I can do. Oh yeah and I have known him IRL since high school, (fiance as well, though that's on hold) nuff said. He's good people. So don't assume I'm just taking up for some guy on the interweb.  |
