I find it difficult to consider the rantings of a feeble old man who calls himself the holy father. Anyhow there is debate aplenty as to whether or not the Catholic Church is an evil entity. Lets take a gander for a bit at the evils commited in the name of Mary.... General atrocity timeline (well organized): http://www.religioustolerance.org/genocide2.htmIt is my belief that we as humans have evolved marvelously on the technology front but remain stuck in the terrible two's when it comes to philosophy, human rights and matters of the mind/soul/heart. We continue to listen to an organization which will denounce birth control and protect child molesters in the same breath. We continue to allow the various voice boxes of a multitude of gods to seperate us, condemn us, control us and torture us without question. We fight wars completely under the us against them philosophy without really knowing who we are much less who they are. The same catholic church who remained convinced that the world was flat and that the earth was the center of the universe and all who opposed this concept were heretics now wishes to tell me who I can and cannot marry? Laughable to say the least...at the most it is a very scary indication of the fact that we have not truely evolved in any sense other than electronically. Jesus and Muhammad are likely rolling over on their thrones at the right side of the father every time some church opens it's mouth to decide the fate of humanity. All secular religion is evil because it excludes and admonishes, kills and rapes, conquers for monetary gain and tortures on a hunch, it scorches the earth and leaves orphans in it's path and does all of this under the false pretense of holiness. Be spiritual, follow whatever dogma you wish. But protect yourself against the malice of religious right of any cloth as it is most always wrong. I have again lost my damned lighter.

Do we have a sex in heaven? No we are in a state of constant orgasm without ever going dry...at least that is my heaven.
Are there penises and vaginas in heaven? No we will have peninas or vanises.
Does God have a penis? Yes but he does not use condoms.
Does he know how to use it? See above answer.
When it rains, is God peeing on us with his penis? Only when Jesus puts his finger in to the rivers of heaven...all that wine has to go somewhere.
Is it okay to eat God's yellow snow? Yes, but only when it looks like the profile of the Virgin, the face of Jesus or Elvis....every guy likes to draw in the snow.
Did God have an orgasm when he impregnated Mary? Did Mary? No...she was artificially inseminated by an angel with a holy turkey baster (not very sexy but effective none the less)
How did Jesus get such fantastic abs? Is it genetic? Does God have great abs? Carrying all those loaves and fishes made for some nice 6 pack action...it is not known whether or not it is genetic as no one has looked under God's robe and lived to tell.
So many unanswered questions.

You should forward that one on to the Pope...seems he forgot to read it.

And thus begins our plunge into non-sequitor land. Oh, and isn't the so-called neo-con movement an emerging "standard of this age?" Throwing Scripture at a secular audience to prove a dicey point of logic lends no credibility to your argument, and in theological circles, that practice is commonly referred to as "Scripture Twisting."

Hope something wasn't "lost in translation", and I don't just say this jokingly, because I've seen all sorts of heck erupt before when words got bungled up between languages. (Such as a Korean friend asking for a blue item and getting a green one instead... so the story goes...)

Sad as it is, it's hard to imagine the Pope, the head of one of the most guilt-tripping religions ever, not condemning gay marriage.

Yeah, I don't like to condemn and I wish there were more room for interpretation, but historically this has not been the case.
