Ever been stalked in SL? After I wrote a blog entry about someone who followed me around way too much, several aquantances came forward with their being-stalked stories. Some funny, some creepy. I'm thinking this is more common than I thought. Any of you guys and gals have stalker stories to tell?

I have never had a stalker (well, I semi had one but they were really trying to stalk someone else through me.. that didn't work.. hehe).. Nope. I'm not stalkable I suppose.

I've unfortunately had the experience of several people I tried to be nice to, who I exchanged Calling Cards with. They then proceeded to follow me around the map at some rather inopportune times (including moments where I wanted to be alone -- they could have sent an IM in advance
 ), cyberbegged me for L$, and in some cases, blasted me with push guns.The mind boggles. On a side note, I am "stalking" a special someone right now. But that is only because I am in love.  _____________________

I stalk Urusula through the forums on a regular basis.
Seriously, I've had more than 1 stalker but the one that creeped me out the most was one that would stand on the top of Skee's old building in Tehama and stare down at me. Would never come down and talk. If I approached him, he'd fly away. He even asked some of my friends in IMs if they knew where he could get a copy of or a close proximity to my av. Totally skeeved me. _____________________

Yes I have stalkers and the lack of privacy is annoying some grow on you but some just creep you out. You want to be nice and yet many times they dont get the hint.

Yes, I have been stalked in SL...most recently. I and my friends have been harrassed by someone and nothing has been done about it. All we can do is keep banning her alt accounts....while she keeps creating them and we find out about them. Too bad people just can't leave well enough alone when someone doesn't want to "play" with them. They have to resort to yelling and insisting that we accept their calling cards...multiple times, and then resorting to slander just because they didn't get their way....maybe Mommy didn't hug them enough...i don't know...but stalking, harrassment and slander are things that one CAN sue over...even it they happen in a game. Let the stalker beware....they CAN be found and prosecuted.

I am being stalked, of this I am sure.
I am not sure who it is, but trust me, I will find out. It all started the other day in Grignano. I was at Textures Unlimited picking up some textures for a new build when I first heard it, clipity clop, clipity clop. I figured it was just a texture box malfunctioning and paid it no mind. I then TP'd to Ahern to go scare some newbs. I wasn't there 5 minutes and heard it again, clipity clop, clipity clop. I proceeded back to Aasim where the mini map indicated I was all alone. I heard it again when I was the only one in the sim, clipity clop, clipity clop. I turned to look in the direction the sound was coming from and I swear I caught a glimpse of what appeared to be a cotton ball like attachement rounding the corner. I rounded the corner, nothing.The sound did not recur for several days. But saturday, Ingrid and I where alone in Aasim I heard it again, clipity clop, clipity clop. Then it got even weirder, every time Ingrid would say my name, I would hear a haunting sound "baaaaaa baaaaaa" in the distance. Then, clipity clop, clipity clop. I did not make mention of this to Ingrid, as I didn't want to seem paranoid. I do not know who you are, but I will find you, clipity clop, clipity clop. _____________________
