more variety in clubs please

R.I.P. Gravity Space Station, the only club I ever bothered to actualy hang out in. As a club it was somewhat run of the mill socialy...you had your live DJs, your <blank>est AV contests, etc... but as a build it was utterly fantastic.

Dancing in clubs is generaly pointless, IMO. After the first 2 to 5 minutes of showing off your cool new moves, there's really nothing else you can do with it. There's no skill, no chalange, no interactivity...If someone could script a dance system that actualy took some effort to use (i.e. key presses to the rhythm in order to execute seperate steps), then I might be interested. (I actualy tried something like this before, when I was too much of a novice scripter to make it work.)

Awwwww, Come on guys and gals, we tryin to talk about the POOPY here!!!!

Seriously folks, elitists, satire lackey, and blah blah blah, can we agree that we're all poking fun at each other and get back in the mix?

Alrighty then. I guess I won't take this as a personal attack since it's quite obvious that you don't know me personally.

The idea was simply to add some humorous (sure grotesque comes to mind) and interesting new atmosphere to the current club situation that exist. And as this is an open forum, also realizing that this would not be everyones cup of tea, I was simply trying to refrain from the four letter explatives to discribe the type of environment that i was envisioning. I was also trying to maintain a sense of levity toward the whole thing being that this may not be at all what the originating author of the post was looking for in a response.

So I'm not really sure if my age here is relevant. I am a RL 3d animator, I love cartoons and anime and the like and yes may have a slightly jaded sense of humor to boot. If you perfer to insert "pissing yourself", "shit on the wall", "getting shitfaced or fucked up", feel free to interject these terms into the previous posts where applicable.

I never really wondered how old were the creators of Spider Man, Mickey Mouse, Spawn, Pokemon, SpongeBob Squarepants, or even Bevis and Butthead and South Park.

But thank you for your well thought out and informative contribution to the original thread.

Bottom line kiddo, just havin' some fun. Please accept my sincerest apologies if the subject matter offended you in anyway, and anyone else for that matter, for this was truely not my intent.

The problem with that is that 90% or more of us Fetites don't do clubs ;P

LOL thankyou ..,its exactely what the point of the convo was.. to brainstorm some new ideas and make a sore sight an even more sorer sight but this time with a giggle..
i understand enough to know that clubs have been done to death and the whinge about em .. so i was just hoping to see some new ideas popping up.. yeah sure ideas get copied but thats what i was also hoping.. hell i aint making no club so throw some ideas out there and let some one else do the hard work

I wasnt offended;it was actually a sincerely delivered question. I don't encounter a lot of adults talking about "pee pee and poopy" to other adults and I was curious.

Rhapz: I'm glad you understood from the junp that I was just trying to throw around some funky ideas. Admit it, if there was something like that you know you'd have to swing by at least once just to check it out.

The original start to this thread was talking about building something different. Well we are sooooo bound to our ideas of what to build by the limitations placed upon us by physics and our fragile human body. SL transcends all of that, why can't we? First off you don't have to obey the law of physics, so why not allow dancing in space with multi layer lights or a spherical dancing arena?? You can float and still use dance anims... or build clubs upside down with the biggest floor on top (like turning a pyramid upside down with the point to the 'earth' as it were?) I still wonder why people wanna be tied down with what already exists? SL has many many more options... so go beyond our 'normal' thinking and turn up the heat on the designers... lets get novel in herre...

OUTSTANDING POINT!!!! You even got me thinkin on that one, like would it be possible to have a club, let's say that floats in the sky and randomly floats around SL like a blimp but with a glass floor and walls so while your jiggin you can look down and see the ant people running around? That may have to go thru the L's cause not sure how youd do that. Or an underwater club, you won't drown, I walk on the sea bed all the time and fish and sharks could just be swimmin by at random, i've been to a couple places that have sharks and dolphins and chilled with em to see if they bite or anythin.

The upside down pyramids sounds sweet too!!!
