From: Dusty Mousehold The position of the roll feed can be divided into two distinct camps, the tiki-wiki and the duffer . The tiki-wiki is the technologist and they understand how the world works and knows the optimum position is the underside feed. This ensures the roll does not spin excessivily and feed half the roll to the floor with just a small tug and require the operator to backfeed the product back onto the roll.
ppfffft, it happens either way.

From: Talen Morgan what could possibly be on your wall that is worse than whats on your ass No, you misunderstand... Given: Most people tear strips from the roll multiple times when wiping Given: Most people don't wash until the whole process is complete. Ergo: Contamination gets on the hands, and thus the roll on tears #2+ So, if the roll gets contaminated after you've wiped once and go for another strip, you have two choices: 1. Have the roll placed under, with the possibility of contaminated hands touching the wall directly, or indirectly via the paper that you're touching that then touches the wall. 2. Have the roll placed over, and so you're always grabbing sheets that are bound for the toilet. Hence, over is a much more sanitary option.

Aha, victory, over is sanitary. From: Dusty Mousehold The position of the roll feed can be divided into two distinct camps, the tiki-wiki and the duffer . The duffer is the everyman, the typical consumer, the unwashed masses if you will. These are the people who tend to take their computer to a repairman to defragment their E Machine's hard drive, are often distracted by shiny objects and drive Chrystler minivans. They are easily befuddled as to why the roll will spin and spin and then have to wind it back into a disorderly wad. Does this upset them? Usually not, they have long grown used to things like this like the paper towels spinning into the sink, the vegitable bags zinging down into the zuccini bin etc. They believe it is just a part of life and go on. Hey, I have a computer science degree, and I like OVER! AND MY ROLL DOES NOT SPIN EXCESSIVELY!

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!
