ATLANTA, Georgia (AP) -- When two men walked into a popular country store outside Atlanta, announced a holdup and fired a shot, owners Bobby and Gloria Doster never hesitated. The pair pulled out their own pistols and opened fire.

Ever since roman times, it has been known that if we provide people with enough food and entertainment, they will need not revolt, or be violent in any way.
In a socialist country, everything is provided to you, and so people do not want, need not steal, or indulge in senseless acts of violence against their fellow humans.
Besides, not having people begging and sleeping in the streets is good for tourism

Im a liberal and own a gun, and would certainly shoot to protect the lives of my family or friends. I also believe in tough gun laws, strict policing of weapons registrations and background checks, holding parents who's children get ahold of thier guns responisble and charged with crimes.

But if I could suddenly make every gun on the earth non-functional, I would. Much harder to kill a person when you have to stand toe to toe with them and look them in the eyes. And most people suck with bows.

I've been an NRA member since my 21st birthday. In fact it was a gift from my father along with a mini 14 and a lady S&W. I have always owned guns and will continue to do so untill the day the government pries them out of my cold hands. See the difference between us is that I do not lump all Republicans into one big ole corporate gang bang with a blood lust for muslims you seem to lump all non Republicans together as a bunch of weak socialists hell bent on destroying your right to bear arms. How about all those other constitutional protections that Bush and his administration have so freely erased over the past 4 years? Is the right to bear arms and form militia the only right which you feel needs protection? See I believe that all of our rights should be protected from a large government which makes me in a lot of ways far more conservative than you will ever hope to be.

Oh this line from that article is great:
