Hello Everybody,
I just returned from lunch to an e-mail from Shepp Proudfoot. As you may remember, I have served in the past as Shepp Proudfoot's representation in SL. He has asked me to convey to everyone the fact that he has been banned for a "To be determined" amount of time from both Second Life and the Second Life Forums.
Shepp believes that player feedback will be soliticted to determine the length/terms of his suspension and requests that all his "loyal fans and subjects" petition Linden Labs to "free a political prisoner". Additionally, letters of support can be sent to [email]sheppproudfoot@hotmail.com[/email]
Shepp is also accepting donations to fund his legal defence.
I will keep you informed of developments as I become aware of them.

Excellent news...shoulda happened a while ago. As for his legal defence fund I highly doubt my contribution would be worthwile to his cause.

7.1 Termination. Linden has the right at any time for any reason or no reason to suspend or terminate your Account, terminate this Agreement, and/or refuse any and all current or future use of the Service without notice to you. LOL good luck with all that Shepp. |

Judging by his behavior on the forums, I am wary about meeting any of his 'loyal fans and subjects'... Shepp is also accepting donations to fund his legal defence. The whole idea of paying a buttload of cash for legal council.... hmm. In the immortal words of Jim Carey: "Because if I take it to small claims court, it will just drain 8 hours out of my life and you probably won't show up and even if I got the judgment you'd just stiff me anyway; so what I am going to do is piss and moan like an impotent jerk, and then bend over and TAKE IT UP THE TAILPIPE!"
