My crystal ball says that, since this is the most polarized and passionate that the electorate has ever been in my lifetime, we're going to see a significant surge in votor turnout, which has historically been good for the Democrats.
Kerry - 51% Bush - 48% Nadar - 1%
with a solid electoral college victory for Kerry.
Anyone else care to make a prediction?

I predict that Kerry will indeed win the electoral vote but there will be an outcry from the r'pubs regarding voting scandals in key states and GW will end up with the pop vote.
I say real numbers Kerry 55 Bush 44 other 1
Republican party numbers after ripping up a bunch of ballots Kerry 40 Bush 59 other 1

Kerry will win both the popular vote and the electoral college by a large enough margin to prevent controversy. At least controvery that would change the outcome of the election.
I will have to revise my previous prediction and put it at Kerry 327, Bush 211.
Undecided voters will sway for the challenger and the high voter turnout will benefit Kerry.
I do predict however that voters who vote for Kerry will balance themselves when casting ballots in key congressional races. This will lead to a Republican Congress which will actually be good for the country.
I don't know why it works so well but I really like a Dem President and a Pug Congress.

I predict an ASSHAT will win the election...nothing will change ....America will be attacked again in the near future.
I would love to see American politicians hanging by their necks as the American people finally take back their government and make it truly OF the people, BY the people, and FOR the people.

I predict that no matter which way it goes, we will all get four more years of listening to the non-stop whining of the supporters of the party that lost.

Well...The Weekly Reader poll puts Bush ahead by a pretty good margin: Hundreds of thousands of students participated, giving the Republican President more than 60% of the votes cast and making him a decisive choice over Democratic Senator John Kerry.
Since 1956, Weekly Reader students have correctly picked the president 11 out of 12 times, making the Weekly Reader poll one of the most accurate predictors of presidential outcomes in history.
However, the Redskins lost their last Home game before the election putting Kerry in the White House: The Washington Redskins have proved to be a time-tested election predictor. In the previous 17 elections, if the Washington Redskins have lost their last home game prior to the election, the incumbent party has lost the White House. When they have won, the incumbent has stayed in power.
That is as far back as the streak goes. In 1932 the Washington Redskins were neither the Redskins nor a Washington team: they were the Boston Braves, and they played in Braves Field, which they shared with the National League baseball team of the same name.
So my prediction is: Bush 55% Kerry 44% Other 1%
Electorial college votes: Bush 50% Kerry 50% Other 0%
Challenged by GOP until Bush 50% Kerry 44% Votes not counted 6%

My prediction is that all the "Rock the Vote" Viewers will come out of the woodworks and put Kerry into office! Something that none of the polls have taken into consideration or taken seriously.

Breaking News: Pollsters have been methodically deceived. Analysis reveals that the electorate has deliberately lied on all presidential polls as part of an insidious plot to pull the tail on the dog that wags.
Badnarik takes all by 6 percentage points.

From: Many People I predict Predicttransitive senses : to declare or indicate in advance; especially : foretell on the basis of observation, experience, or scientific reason While "predict" is not being used incorrectly, there are words that would be a far better fit. Here are a couple you may want to consider using in the future. Guess1 : to form an opinion of from little or no evidence 2 : Believe, Suppose 3 : to arrive at a correct conclusion about by conjecture, chance, or intuition Surmise1 : to imagine or infer on slight grounds

Although a technical or legal document may warrant this type of precision writing, the word "predict" does fit within the common vernacular and context, and better yet, people "get" it. I think it is so close right now, it could literally go either way. CNN pollsters seem to be predicting a tie.
I am so nervous about the outcome of this election; my hands were practically shaking while I was punching out the little hole on my absentee ballot for the presidential race.

Ain't no way GW goes down on Laura, so its Kerry by a landslide. - Ace

It's already been decided. The Washington Redskins lost so Kerry will win. http://www.snopes.com/sports/football/election.aspedit: You never know though. The curse of the bambino was lifted this year after 86 years so anything can happen. If it comes true, then you can praise Brett Favre for putting Kerry in office.

Not my prediction... but I guess my hopes: From: someone THE WORLD VOTES FOR JOHN KERRY THE HAGUE, 11/1/'04 - If the rest of the world could vote in the U.S. Presidential election, John Kerry would win in a landslide. That is the conclusion of an international election conducted by The World Votes ( www.theworldvotes.org), an initiative that gives people all around the world a voice in the forthcoming U.S. Presidential Election. According to the international election, John Kerry receives 81.6% of the vote. George Bush is favoured by a 6.2% minority. Independent candidate Ralph Nader gets 5.3%. The other candidates together receive less than 6%. In total, nearly 10,000 citizens from countries all over the world took part in this election. The poll subsequently asked the participants about the expected outcome of the 2004 Presidential election. More than half (57.1%) of the respondents think that John Kerry will win the election. For this question, 42.3% thinks that Bush serve a second term in the White House. Most participants (43.5%) think that U.S. voters will consider foreign policy as a major issue when casting their vote on November 2. One third of the voters however say that Americans will not consider foreign policy a key theme upon casting their vote. The U.S. election is widely considered by the participants (91.4%) to be an international event. However, almost half of the respondents (46.9%) indicated that the rest of the world should not have a say in the election. Only a mere 6.8% says that the U.S. election is purely a domestic issue. The survey results are mailed to all respondents - including more than 4,000 American citizens- as well as to international and U.S. media. But the World Votes has no intent to influence the democratic process in the U.S. "We just want to urge U.S. voters to keep the rest of the world in mind when casting their vote", says Wiebe de Jager, one of the initiators. The World Votes has been discussed all over the world on Internet and in the media. In the past few weeks, the International Herald Tribune, BBC News and the L.A. Times paid attention to the initiative. About The World Votes The World Votes ( www.theworldvotes.org) is a non-profit, primarily symbolic action to mobilize world citizens to become enfranchised in the debate about a more democratic management of world affairs. The World Votes is based in the Netherlands. The World Votes is a member of The World Speaks ( www.theworldspeaks.net): a gateway to worldwide action, dialogue, and information about the U.S. Presidential election in November 2004.
