Wow Darko, maybe we all should post an “I love me, won’t you love me too” thread… hehe. Seriously, since you posted this thread I assume you would like some feedback other than “I love you too bro, let’s fire up another fatty”. So, here goes.

You and I have been on the opposite side of several issues but I for one think that these forums conversations or debates are just that, conversations and debates. You have never “pissed” me off for the record but I have disagreed in particular with the way you have handled yourself on several occasions. This forum is not a place for personal attacks or by the way profanity. I know that that statement will probably be ripped apart but it is supposed to be a PG forum, if it was not I would have no problem at all with profanity by the way. Personal attacks on the other hand are just childish and petty with no real value to anyone. You often have very valid points to make but as a friend I will tell you that your use of personal attacks and profanity cheapen what you are trying to say. You would be much more effective in reaching others if you would do away with those two tactics.

A couple of other things. I really don’t consider you all that much of a “bad boy” Darko. You attempt to give off that persona sometimes but I don’t see you that way. Your pot smoking couldn’t be less of an issue either. Who cares what you or anyone else chooses to do for recreation in RL? It is nobody’s business and it is a non factor on these forums. I will note that it is often you that brings that fact up, for what reason I can not see. “Silencing” you or anyone else who wants to share their opinion in an appropriate way on these forums would be a travesty. Discussion and debate are why these are here in the first place. How boring it would be if all we ever did was agree with everyone else… lol. Life is full of wonderful diversity and passion. I will say this for you, you wear that on your sleeve bro and I respect that about you.

I find it interesting that we do share some similarities my friend. I have a great passion and love for SL. I too consider myself a very kind person and have given lots of myself to this world. Some will attempt to demean my contribution, but that discussion is for another thread. I agree that SL is like a family, I know it is a virtual family but to me that should not cheapen its validity and value. I have some very close friends that I have genuine love for and hold those friendships in as high regard as some of the RL friendships I have. I know that you feel the same way. I too am a very vocal, strong willed person who is unafraid of sharing my opinion. This is not just Billy’s personality trait but the way I am in RL. It is ok for others to reinvent their personality in-world if they like but that is not for me. I do not have any desire being anything or anyone but me. Anyway, enough about that, I just thought it was worth noting that we do share many similarities even though we disagree on occasion.

I do have a question for you Darko. You say that you “feel obligated to do what I can to keep it free of fucktards and douche bags even if some find my methods unconventional.” I would be interested in 2 things:
1. What is your definition of a “fuckard and douche bag”?
2. What exactly is your method to rid SL of their presence?
The danger of this kind of thought is that if you had the ability to somehow drive away these people then maybe I want that power too. Surely my definition of a “fuckard and douche bag” will be at lease a little different from yours. Joe Blow will want that power as well and his definition will be different than both of ours. Sally Avitar will want it, and hers may be quite different. Continue on and there will be no one left because I am sure we all are on SOMEONE’S “fuckard and douche bag” list. How do we get rid of the people who truly should not be here? I don’t have the surefire answer to that other than to say that LL should be much more active than they are… maybe… hehe.

Finally, I do not want to be left out of this lovefest so I am compelled to tell you… “I love you man”. Not in the “man-love” kind of way of course, not that there is anything wrong with that… hehe. One love back atcha!

You may not but others obviously care too much. I mention this all the time because I am very vocal in the movement to decriminalize marijuana. I am proud to be a marijuana user and think that the benefits of this drug are only now beginning to be realized. People as a whole wrongfully vivify marijuana and its users. This is my way of speaking out. It is also important to me that people know that I use marijuana. In fact I have used the drug for over 20 years medicinally to treat the various mental disorders I am afflicted with including obsessive compulsive disorder, severe bi-polar disorder, anxiety disorder and panic attacks. To me it is one of the most important issues. I wish that all people were as mature about the issue as you but we all know they are not. I will continue to make light of this fact! *Also it helps to explain why I constantly leave out words and misspell even though I use spell check.

Dude fucking come on. We all recognize the fucktards and douche bags…the people who come to our community forums for the sole purpose of causing problems and disrupting shit. I very clearly said that this did not mean people that differ in opinion. Like I said before healthy debate is essential. You know I am talking about the people that are not interested in contributing to our community. My method should be obvious. I harass them and call them out, I make them feel they are NOT welcome here. My immediate goal is to get them suspended. I can tell you from experience getting suspended forces a person to re-evaluate why they post and how they express their feelings. I will use Shepp as an example. It is clear he got suspended as a direct result of his altercation with me earlier that day. After his suspension he came to the forums and apologized to us all. He is now a more active member of this community. He now posts with a heightened level of respect and has the threat of suspension at the back of his mind. In fact the fear that I am not welcomed here is more than likely why I started this thread. I suspect I needed to ensure myself that people still find my posts humorous and valid. I am sure you disagree with my methods. No worries as Alby said use the ignore button.
