That is sad. Reminds me how hard it was to leave my friends in TSO behind. Well done video, it was cool.

LOL that part where the girl is walking and the other girl is being pulled along by her legs is hilarious .. good quality movie. Wonder why none of them are walking off towards Secondlife? That is what made me cry.

Haha She got Lefted!
Their avatars are uglier than ours! ![]() And yeah why the hell didn't anyone come to Second Life? Well we know the ones who leave for There will more than likely end up here. ![]() Good video overall though. _____________________

Wow, that's one of the saddest things I've ever seen. I think the effect of all of her friends sort of fading out of existance and the little circle of friends thing going empty and the houses all fading away made it really really touching and painful.

Just as long as those sissies stay out of CoH, I'm satisfied.

I thought it was sappy. Except for the "it just got boring" part, that was funny.

Originally posted by Ryen Jade I laughed my way through it. I dont think it was funny at all. It's very emotional leaving something you love behind. And I am going thrugh it again with There. Am I sad? Yes I am. This may just be an online world to some, but behind our Avatars and sims, we are real people with real feelings. ANd it's hard letting go. To me it really isnt the game, it's the people you meet, the friends you make. And now I once again have to start all over again. So no. It isnt funny a bit. |

Wow - okay, I'm shallow, but all I could think was "Can you imagine the machicinema out of SL once we have custom animations?" Great production values! Great emotive capabilities. Can't wait till we have more of that!

It was touching...

IMHO.
I CAN so relate to the loss of friends. As Scotty pointed out, yes it may be a game, but the bonds you form with others is very much REAL & it's sad & difficult to let go. BTW Scotty I was a TSO beta tester as well. Was in TSO from 10/02 - 4/03. Live in IH & CC You'd be surprised how many TSO people are now playing SL. I have even met a Few I actually KNEW well in TSO. & also I am fortunate enough to have come into SL with my TSO sister ![]() *hugs* all ![]() |

Hi Scotty,
Welcome to SL! I'm still feeling my way around SL, but so far I am enjoying myself! I to came from TSO. (I still sign on from time to time.) I played in BF, MF, and TC. BF since Beta days. Sally |

LMAO...OMG That is Hillarious...and to Imagine I bailed from TSO less that 3 months of it going Live ...Beta was fun Live was fun for all of about 10 mins. Looking back on it now I don't know how I survived without SL.
It is Ironic though that there was not a sequence about SL and what amazes me is a lot of those "Other" worlds are slowly having part of there population migrate to SL. Why some ask? #1 as mentioned earlier a lot of people who beta tested all these games/worlds are not your true to heart hackem slashem people. They are creators, inventors and are in the "Beta" buisness to do just that to help create worlds for others to play and have fun in. #2 Once regimented in a routine people get easily bored and with the limitations of the aforementioned worlds SL has them all beat hands down. #3 Second Life is exactly what it portrey's a Second life to live out dreams or Ideas that one has that could not be fulfilled in the other worlds. MY Final Statement ...the video was well done, funny, yet sad for those companys, and parted friends. But in the end....I'm NOT SORRY to say Second Life is my home and will be for as long as it exsists. Been here Since Beta and don't think I will be going anywhere soon unless someone comes up with a VR version with a full body suit like SL. Shadow, _____________________

Oh, Ive run into some of my There friends, and some of them are from TSO as well. ![]() I am really DYING to try my hand at building here in SL. I had a blast building houses in TSO and the offline sims, so next month Im gonna get my own land here and build. I need my own place! lol I may suck at designing, but I love building! I know it's different than TSO was, but I think I can manage. ![]() |
