i agree especially with the ratings one, although it's not an issue any more. i didn't care if others wanted to rape the system for lindens- that's their business. but don't rate me without permission as fly past you then get pissy because i don't rate back. i thought i'd have to make a DON"T RATE ME shirt to enjoy monday nights. grrrr

Well. it always helps if you politely introduce yourself before you rez your giant penis on their land and then shoot them into the next sim with your push gun. OMG you made soda come out my nose! Can i use a variation of this for a T-shirt? |

Oh..I forgot a couple:
Don't send someone a TP without giving them a clue as to what it is for. Don't spam a group chat channel that you aren't an officer of, especially with advertisements or attempts to sell your land. If you are at a crowded and laggy event, or plan to attend one, please try and find an alternative to that 300 prim hair style. _____________________

One point of good manners (and for your own safety) would be to never click on someone's project while they are working on it. It's annoying and might cause you to get blasted into orbit depending on what kind of scripts are in it. Surreal There are also other things that it is impolite to click on - usually attached to the avatar. On the other hand, if they're wearing them out in public, that's usually considered impolite too ![]() _____________________

most people i've known don't have a problem changing outfits in front of other people but if they're going to expose avatar "skin" they usually only do it in front of close friends etc. So I should give up on my habit of changing in mid-air 100m from the telehub while rushing to a "Best Dressed in Green" event? But my skin is so PG anyway!!!! _____________________

What do you think the common protocols and etiquette surrounding interpersonal relationships are in Second life? a bit distorted by people who forget that there are real people behind those avatars. other'n that they are pretty much the same as anywhere else. _____________________
