My mom is a poorly rendered avatar you insensitive clod!

Oh also LSD is good for finding your center, but I'm not sure how that applies to Second Life.

Thanks...didn't expect such harsh replies though, especially from Eddy.

LOL I take it that was the first time you heard the "insensitive clod" running Internet joke. I don't have a problem with deep threads at all, except when people think that senses of humor don't apply to intellectual conversation. And the rest of my post still stands.

LOL...On a second thought your reply is pretty funny :) I lost an hour worrying over nothing, haha. Thanks for clearing that up :-)

No problem, people yell at me on instant messenger all the time since my sense of humor often doesn't travel in text-mode.

Am I going to be the only one that posts seriously to this thread? :D

Ya, I'll tell you what brings me back to my true self. Go home for a week. Let me clarify, go stay at your parents' house for a week. I don't care how old I get, my family seems to reduce me to a 16 year old before I even know it's happening.

Live 3,000 miles away? Have a cool job? Feeling ultra-chic? Don't sweat it, trust your family to take you down several notches. And THAT'S what brings me back to my true self. And I'd be lying if I said I didn't love it! :D

I am considering the witness protection program so that my true self can't find me.

I dunno, dropping my motorbike on the high street earlier today brought me back to earth (pardon the pun) pretty quickly....

Damn, that'll cost a bit to fix.... :(

Hahahahahahaha I totally know what you mean Kate.

You know what's REALLY fun? Go to a family gathering where your dad and his brother and mother all end up in the same room. Then watch as HE starts behaving like a rebellious 13-year old! :D
