adam z, aimee, and alicia scare me!

I guess you can put me in the "scary" category too... hehe.

Actually I find people with negative economic and positive social scores kind of scary. That's like, let's have the government manage everything. Pretty scary to me.

Economic Left/Right: 6.13
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -8.15

I was somewhat surprised by my stance:

Economic .26

Social 3.69

I thought I'd be further to the right on everything...

I'm not sure I liked the way some of the questions were worded though...

Mildly surprising, although I *am* one of the more conservative/authoritarian ones here it seems. Shock. Wow.

I think it's pretty skewed though. Some of the questions prompted "um. duh?" reactions and just seemed stupid to me.

"What's good for the most successful corporations is always, ultimately, good for all of us."
Yeah, eliminating all forms of health/environmental regulation would be GREAT for everyone. (sarcasm) Hey it would help corporate bottom line wouldn't it? (Duhhhh..)

"People with serious inheritable disabilities should not be allowed to reproduce."
Is this the "Are you a Nazi sympathizer?" question?

"All people have their rights, but it is better for all of us that different sorts of people should keep to their own kind."
Is this the "Are you a racist and/or bigot?" question?

"It is a waste of time to try to rehabilitate some criminals."
I'm sure we could think of "some" (plenty actually) criminals that are clearly beyond hope in any normal person's opinion.

"Mothers may have careers, but their first duty is to be homemakers."
Is this the "Are you a sexist?" question?

"Multinational companies are unethically exploiting the plant genetic resources of developing countries."
No shit? Really?????

"Astrology accurately explains many things."
What?

"You cannot be moral without being religious."
What?

"Some people are naturally unlucky."
What?

"What goes on in a private bedroom between consenting adults is no business of the state."
Obviously!

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!

Well, I fell to the Right, but likely not as far right as many in these forums would imagine. I actually think I would have been farther right if some of those questions had been so blatantly weighted to the Left.

Economic Left/Right: 1.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.26

Did this test a few months ago, my results were approximately..
Economic Left/Right: -8.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.00

I'm not sure what caused the result on the social aspect, I always thought I was extremely liberal..

Believe it or not, there are actually quite a few people who would disagree. Perhaps not here on this forum, but they are out there in RL.
