Ooh, here's a secret I discovered using an alt, earlier today...
If, on leaving Orientation Island, you can visit - and create a landmark in - every sim, in alphabetical order, without logging out or crashing... then you get 10,000 experience points, a land scanner and Bub Linden's autograph, which you can then either trade in for an animated kitty-tail and ears, or use in the creation of a scroll of Lag Resistance, which is priceless when trying to complete some stages.
