AMAZING sculptie water

It seems some people only like to moan and groan about things. I am very glad it was posted in Resident Answers. I normally do not read the New Products forum and would have missed this wonderful new item.

Those of us who spend any time perusing the forum know Elanthius and that he is not a shill for Zor or anyone else. I think we should be able to show admiration here if we want to. Folks are free to ignore threads they think are spam.

Well, I didn't go to the actual in-world location and look at the waterfall... Is it for sale there, or is it just part of the landscape? I know that a later post advertised that the creator had put the components *used to create* the waterfall on SLX (and actually, I did go buy that), but my first impression (mistaken or not, I guess) was that the original post was just pointing out something interesting.

[EDIT] I just went there... The waterfall is *NOT* for sale. So it wasn't really a direct shill, was it? Clearly there is room for all kinds of interpretations. The location is a public park, and if I may say so, it is quite well done, if a little sparse.

Glad you liked it Robby. I'm sorry the park hasn't been completed yet. We were working on it and sort of stopped when the water was made. We weren't expecting all the attention that has happened so we were a little unprepared and are now trying to catch up.

yea, the water fall isnt for sale, I don't think it would be that useful for most people, its size is relatively fixed for it look ok, the insides hallow and transparent from the other side, so if its not up agianst a wall, you get a strange effect.

Im working on ways to minimize the distortion when resizing, that will help to make the tiles more useful..

And trying to finish up the park, none of us thought that it would be so popular, we just told a few people and then everyone started dropping by, the sim is hardly 3 weeks old..

I rarely look at that new item forum myself. Something that makes you go 'hmmmm' is worth a post in residents answers asking, " hey, you seen this? Its quite cool" And the damn thing is quite cool, and different. Ive had a bunch of people over to my place to check it out and they all go, " ooooooh". Now, all I need is a cutback for all this free advertising muahahahaa!

I spoend a couple of hours with Zor and tristan yesterday and we watched as lindens came and went ...... people came to paddle...... Zor working on splases...tristan lazing around and me with my coffee..... It was entertaining, interesting and pretty much a good laugh.

It was good work ... and a loverly pair of guys...

I went a couple days ago during the hottest part of the day; I was having odd moments of bodily jealousy and longing because my avatar was standing in cold, clear blue water up to its chest.

I had to go sit in a cold tub for a while before I could sit back at the computer.

VERY evocative.

Try using a lava texture like i did. Really cool to see.
