I don't get it. Why are we even discussing this? What's next-water is wet? Of course Dig Dug is better.

Now when are they coming out with Crystal Castles for Xbox?

Actually, I really wish they'd make a new version of Archon and Archon II. Those games were GREAT!!! :)

Last year, while at Kennywood Park, I came across several "vintage" arcade machines: Zaxxon, Donkey Kong, Asteroids. And still only 25 cents!!! So I played! 2 things happened that I found odd.

1. They seem SO easy now! 1 joystick. 1, maybe 2 buttons.

2. While playing, some kids probably around 12-15 came up behind me to see what I was playing. They made the remark "WOW! Cool! Old School games!" At which point I felt like an old man, considering I remember sneaking out of lunch in High School to play these games at the 7-11 across the road.

Which came out first: Dig Dug or Mr. Do? If they were not by the same company, there should have been a lawsuit. Direct ripoff.

Why would one expect to pay more than a quarter to play "old school" arcade games?

Mr. Do 1982

Dig Dug 1982

Its pretty close. I really have no idea which was first, but I saw Dig Dug everywhere, and Mr. Do nowhere.
