I tried very hard to help Ulrika understand the fact we were never discussing the theory of evolution. She continues to insist I couldn't understand her. The entire discussion concerned ABIOGEGESIS, not evolution. That's a very disingenuous statement. You brought up abiogenesis as an argument against evolution. _____________________

That's a very disingenuous statement. You brought up abiogenesis as an argument against evolution. Chip, read the thread again, I brought up statistical facts to prove the possibilty "life arose" ![]() Sadly Chip, few of those who participated took the time to understand the point of the thread. That's why some people kept refering to evolution, and I didn't respond to anything concerning evolution of the spieces. |

Chip, read the thread again, I brought up statistical facts to prove the possibilty "life arose" ![]() How can you expect to engage in a scientific debate with SL's best and brightest when you can't even assimilate tangential facts such as the one above? If I were you, I'd quit while you're behind. ![]() ~Ulrika~ _____________________

Here's another delicious example of your inability to engage in constructive dialogue. There are a dozen posts from a dozen different individuals in a couple of different threads describing how the probability is not zero but, in fact, infinitesimal. The difference between zero and infinitesimal is just a matter of mathematical accuracy and means nothing to the debate, yet despite patient explanations form many individuals you continue to make the same erroneous statement. How can you expect to engage in a scientific debate with SL's best and brightest when you can't even assimilate tangentially facts such as the one above? If I were you, I'd quit while you're behind. ![]() ~Ulrika~ You clearly don't understand the concept of a statistical impossibility. If you did, you would understand 1 out of 10^28000 is impossible. Perhaps a lesson in statistics would help. Night night, cutie ![]() |

I'd say close to 100%, if you read her post and understand the concept.

You clearly don't understand the concept of a statistical impossibility. If you did, you would understand 1 out of 10^28000 is impossible. Perhaps a lesson in statistics would help. ![]() As you have mistakenly claimed many times, 1/10^28000 is not equal to zero. Naturally, I understand that the following discussion will do nothing to correct your future assertions of the same. If there's one thing that we've all learned it is, that you lack the ability to assimilate facts presented through logical arguments (which is probably why you're a creationist in the first place). The equation ![]() is false. In general the statement ![]() is false for all values of n. The only time you'll see the reciprocal of a number equal to zero is in calculus when one takes a limit, such as ![]() Unfortunately, calculus has nothing to do with the ratio discussed above, so you'll have to be satisfied with being wrong. Chip, read the thread again, I brought up statistical facts to prove the possibilty "life arose" ![]() No, you did not demonstrate that at all. You presented a statistical fantasy. You have been trying to demonstrate the probability that advanced life forms were the product of abiogenesis, which is not expected by abiogenesis. The expected life forms from abiogenesis would be quite simple, and probable. |

I'm expecting the nasty little troll who is not only manifestly incorrect, has been soundly refuted, and continues to reopen a closed topic is waiting for one of two eventualities:
You are so right. I'll stop feeding right now. Sorry I even replied. I'll try to ignore it in the future. Thanks for the reminder. |
