I think it's terrible how they let the forums suffer like this, dragging out the end for as long as possible.

I lived on Guam when I went to see that movie. The power grid on Guam is just barely enough to meet demand. So if there are any problems at all, or any maintenance needs to be done, part of the island doesn't have electricity.
So I am in the theater watching the movie, and it's packed of course. Right at the scene where the ship has just gone down, and you see Leo sucked down into the depths – the instant after her head breaks the surface of the water and she looks around, not seeing Leo - the power goes out. Everyone in the theater gave a simultaneous intake of breath, a collective gasp if you will. Then you start to hear a lot of cussing and “no way!”'s. All I could do was start laughing. (got a lot of glares for that!) Lucky for us the power was back on in less than five minutes and they finished the films. I still thought it was funny though. Such perfect timing! _____________________

Would have been luckier for you if the power had never come back on...unless you ended up watching the whole thing again from the start...in which case I guess it was lucky. The only "epic" movie of recent years that I was even more glad to leave wasa "Pearl Harbor", with Star Wars Episode II in a close second. Nothing like going into a movie expecting lots of fighting and bloodshed and getting a soppy love story. Nothing wrong with soppy love stories, mind you. Just not what I want to see when I go to movies about wars.  _____________________

Gladiator was good though! Just the first 15 minutes was worth the price of admition.
