I actually attended a party a few weeks ago that had TAB. It was kind of scary. Wasn't that the stuff that gave you cancer and shiznit? I'd be surprised if they still sweetened it with Sweet & Low. (All the diet sodas were sweetened with that back then, btw.) |

You can still get TAB where I live. The 24 hour grocery store here sells it. It's a good thing that soda doesn't carry an expiration date. It would say: BEST IF USED BY SEP 01 1978  P2 _____________________

Fret not, you can still get it by the case, however, according to that site "Be sure to select TAB Flat Rate Shipping" which raises the question: "is flat TAB even better than regular TAB?". There's more information for the truly devoted.
Personally, I'm waiting for the return of:  Now that's a drink that required cojones as it most people never made it past the first the first swallow. I had heard it compared by one person unfavorably with tapioca laced semen. It sure did look cool though. I suspect it was test marketed with people who had no senses. |

 While we're at it, bring back Funny Face drink mixes - my fave was Choo Choo Cherry!  I saw a billboard for this coffee flavored Coke yesterday... wondering what that's like... *wonders how long before we will be saying "Bring back Blak!"*  By the way I lurve Fresca, guess that makes me weird! I love Fanta Orange as well, gimme some! _____________________

You can get TAB now, but it's not the same
TAB was sweetened with saccharine, not they sweeten it with aspartame. Saccharine got a bad rap. It was killed in a plot by the aspartame industry to market a new sweetner. _____________________
