He said what he did specifically because it was so offensive, as a way of trying to point out what kind of conclusions can be supported if you're willing to entertain arguments such as the caller's. I think the guy is a jackass but this particular faux pas is being blown way out of proportion.

From: someone The quote has been taken completely out of context, but even without it being taken out of context, it was a poor choice of words on the part of Mr Bennett. I think the context of the quote is in this thread. Mr. Bennet made an extremely poor decision.
