Alot of times people do claim you are not open minded if you don't try what others are trying. This has been the case with people who wat you to try something new but you are stubborn so they label you closed minded. This is more of a social definition than an actual definition passed liberally around those who get pissy with someone not jumping off the bridge with them so to speak. Then there is the open mind where you can accept but not agree with other's ideas or way of life. That is the true definition but with life, sometimes definitions can be altered or splice depending on how many follow that trend.
