Kevn, I was giving the Church's clarification on why their rituals exist. Any discussion of religion isn't a matter of who's right and who's wrong, because everyone believes they're right and there's literally no way to prove it conclusively. Be happy with your own path to God, and don't worry so much about proving the validity of it to others who have found their own path.

Lucifer, you're wrong. Christians have been slaughtering each other over absurdly small doctrinal differences for nearly two millennia. Their attacks on other religious groups, though horrific, have been side shows to the main event. I believe you can tell a lot about a religion by watching the people who practice it, and the history of Christian on Christian violence tells me it ain't about love.

Proselytizing is one of the chief tenets of most Christian churches, isn't it? One of the things I find annoying about them. Not only do they feel morally and spiritually superior, due to their divinely inspired knowledge of the One True Path, they really have to tell you about it. At least nowadays conversion via torture and execution of the (suspected) witches aren't on the menu.
