Just a little thread to pass the time until I get off work! So what's you most favorite commercial of all time? Current or past? A couple of mine are the old Norelco razor commercial and the Budwiser Clydsdale horses commercial I always knew that it was almost Christmas time when I was a kid once these started showing on TV.

Nissan did a 300zx comerical about 10 or 15 years ago. I was stop animation with a GI Joe hauling as in a toy 300z. He's skidding around and finally arrives at a Barbie Dream house. Barbie is so taken she jumps in with GI Joe. Ken is standing ther with a "omg" face as the two drive off. The soundtrack for the commerical is Van Halen.
It's the funniest shit I ever seen on TV. I only seen it a couple of times and could never find the video on the internet

I think the commercial was for EDS - it was a bunch of cowboys herding cats. Only saw the commercial the one time during the superbowl. edited to say the oddly enough, it's still out there: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8215789355288508566

I used to love those Dr. Pepper commercials back in the early 80's, "Gimme the unusual," especially the one in the Starwars bar.
Oh, and of course, who could forget the Ali Landry Doritos commercials? Those always used to brighten my day.
The best has to be the California Raisins though. They will always have a special place in my heart. Nowadays, I love the Geiko gecko (easily some of the world's best 3D work), but it all started with those cool raisins.

The Geico "Caveman" commercials.
Also, because they remind me of home, no matter how silly they are, the "Brilliant!" Guinness commercials.

As far a newer more up to date commercials, I almost hate to admit it, but some of the Aflac commercials crack me up. OH oh! And the commercial about the cell phone w/the security system and the guy tells the other one to try to take it from him and he throws the cell and hits hime square in the face! Your just not expecting it and I almost wet my pants I was laughing so hard the first time I saw it!

My two favorites are the MacGyver Mastercard commercial from this year's Superbowl and Apple's 1984 commercial from Superbowl XVIII.

From: Jetta Bentham Two words. "I Peench." Yes!! I love that one. I never saw the Visa commercial or the herding cats one before, but they're both pretty funny. I also really like the Starbucks 'who da man? you da man' chant commercial, and the Folgers 'happy morning' one... And here's links to all three, yay! I peench. Who da man? Happy morning!

One that still makes me laugh out loud literally is the one for a insurance business where there are 2 guys on a rooftop. One has a rope around his waist and is perched at the edge of the roof with a pail in his hand ready to repel down the side of the house. He jumps over the edge and the guy on the roof with him suddenly jerks free of the roof and flys through the trees over the repelling guy. Apparently the message was not to tether yourself to another non anchored human being while repelling over the side of a house
