Um HELLO.

JONES

Our last name is too Fetid to be Feted. Or maybe it's too feted to be fetid.

Just idly browsing the forums a bit after the fact...

I made lots of things in SL of which I was really quite fond and proud, that inane deck chair being the one exception (either no one ever noticed that the back legs don't touch the floor without tilting it at an extreme angle, or else folks have a quaint desire for wobbly furniture). The lesson of the chair, as has become common lore in zen circles, is not to leave your tat free to copy if you want to leave a legacy as anything other than a builder of tat. The chair does represent a happy memory for me though, and for any avid collectors I believe there is a matching parasol you might like, made by the friend I was with at the time. (Incidentally, whoever it is who added a massage ball to it and put it up for sale - I've been liberally dispensing misleading advice to your distraught customers).

Anyway, and irrelevantly five months later, no idea about the names thing :D

I think you misspelled "Madison" as "Midnight" on the list. There are several Midnights listed but not the much-needed Madisons, but its a common mistake...

Watch out for anyone with the surname HANKS. They are very very inner core, very powerful, very sexy, and they get ALL the women :p

As 50% of the remaining Valens in world, I say Huns and I flip a coin as to whether it stays on the list or not. Anyone wanting to have The Valen Slot on the List is more than welcome by my vote.

After all, those actually in the FIC know you never talk of the FIC. BTW, it's actually called the PFIC: The Powerless Feted Inner Corps, not Core:P

I may have the distinction of having the most unpopular of the beta names. :p I believe it was on the list for nearly a year and a half before being retired.

I am confused--nothing new there

. . .if you are just joining this identity crisis already in progress. . .

OK. Since this thread is nearly as old as I am, I would finally like to get some clarification on some issues:

-My join date: Jan. '05--just missing the coveted midbie '04 designation

-I was an officer in the now-defunct FOC (Flakey Outter Crust)--the Minister of Chocolate, actually, but Captain Barmy disbanded the FOC in search of better pies

-I am an unabashed forum poster, but I have yet to say anything of substance

-I have wings like Aimee but lack her design sense and scintillating wit (Jake is a much more convincing Aimee alt :D)

-There are lots of really nice Roos running around (Lovey, MaryMac, Roo, and Chickadee--to name a few Roos)

-Feniks Stone once stopped me from banging my head against a defunct sim (I just kept running into it again and again and again--not fully understanding what a grey square on my mini-map meant). Had he not told me what was going on, I would still be there--gleefully bouncing off of that sucker.

-I can't rightfully be called: FIC (feted or fetid) (Inner) (Core, Corpse, Corps); FIC (Forum In Crowd); FOC (see above); FUC (Flakey Upper Crust)

My question becomes: what the hell am I? :D

Ahh the deck chair! We took this picture back in September of 2003 on the deck of our first home in Shipley. This is Garth's and my Profile picture. I have had a lot of requests for copies of that deck chair! It is a fond memory. Do you have any idea how hard it was to sit down together back in the days before animations??

Ask Jake :p

Seriously tho, I would imagine that midbee's of 2004 will consider themselves oldbies as they start turning two years old. Therefore opening up midbee slots for 1 year olds. Of course, this is just MY theory.
