I play bluegrass cello, I was scouted by the Mets, I am the subject of numerous documentaries.

C'mon, man, EVERYBODY was scouted by the Mets. You can't do better than that? :)

I worked my way through college as an exotic dancer. I received simultaneous undergraduate degrees in political science and physics.

Though I continued my exotic dancing, I was unable to find a job in my professional field. On a lark, I attended law school in my spare time, and passed the Texas bar exam.

I felt really good about helping large corporations crush annoying litigants, but I thought my talents might be better applied elsewhere. So I applied to NASA as an astronaut candidate.

I was accepted, and started training as a payload specialist. After 16 months, I left NASA when I discovered I didn't care for the on-orbit food.

More recently I've been briefing the President on mideast peace. Unfortunately this has meant I had to give up my exotic dancing career.

Great, Chase. You lived and wrote a fantastic 'life movie' ! I want to shoot that story.
Thanks.

Well actually, we (aboard the Theodore Roosevelt Aircraft carrier) briefed the fighter squad that ended up bombing the Chinese embassy (in Kosovo)... For whatever that's worth. Of course the military said it was a mistake, but we briefed that bomb run noentheless.

My graphics skills? They're stuck in 1989, using Aldus FreeHand on a Macintosh SE/30.

I play a killer game of Yar's Revenge...that's how I got my merit badge.

<-- yup, that one over there

I have many many credentials but I am most proudest of the one that some unnamed person gave to me:

Posted by a fan of mine in the Forums: You're also probably the type of person who doesn't see the correlation between high gas prices and fuel-inefficient SUVs hogging the roads. You just stick the pump in the gas tank, plug your ears, sing the national anthem (next to your "American Pride" bumper sticker), swipe your almost-maxxed credit card, and take your childroons to soccer practice before the terrorists kill us all.

Off topic section:

Electronics engineer by training. Engineer, educator and trainer, artist, programmer, speaker, writer, counsellor. Served several terms as an officer of a local chapter of an international society. Tabletop roleplaying gamer and computer gamer (obviously). Official tester (not beta tester, we work directly with and get assignments from the gamehost) for three MMOGs and community elected message board moderator (like a resmod but elected)

On topic section:

No boobs. Not flat chested, but no man-boobs.

I don't think official credentials often mean much. There are people who have doctorates who couldn't think their way out of a paper bag.

High school graduate. I went to community college for 2½ years, never graduated because I became bored and dropped out--I was working on a computer-oriented degree--this was '91-'93. Then I took cosmetology for half a year and decided that I didn't like beauty/style pageants (which were required to participate in to graduate) and I suck at nails, but did great on everything that had to do with hair.

I've been troubleshooting computers since 1990, started making money by fixing people's computers in 2000, worked as a helpdesk technician at University of Washington Bothell in 2003.

I've been writing music since I was 6, in 1979, on an old Wurlitzer organ. I've been singing since I was 2. In 1986, I discovered making music via computer programs--sequencing. In 1991 I was extensively using music tracker programs on an Amiga 3000. By 1996 I had acquired a plethora of music equipment and was putting out demo tapes. By 2000 I had self-published 3 albums, and was starting to make decent money on mp3.com. After mp3.com went down due to the owner being an idiot by putting signed artists from other record labels on the site, I started to focus more on bands. Since then, I've self-published 2 solo CD's and have been in 4 bands, all but the current one I'm in broke up due to drugs and typical band drama. (shameless plug for my solo material http://www.myspace.com/kizzume and http://www.kizzume.com ) I know Renoise, Med Soundstudio, Pro Tools, and Cubase SX quite well.

I've been modifying games and using graphics utility programs since 1985.

I've been messing with electronics since I was 8--soldering on circuitboards, adjusting the color balance on televisions and the rings for convergence (back when you could still do that sort of thing on televisions before they switched to proprietary remote controls that you have to be certified by the company to get in order to adjust them) and replacing burned capacitors, and things like that.

Blah blah blah, ramble ramble ramble, robble robble.

I have the hand-eye coordination of a ninety year old. Also, I blew up anthills with firecrackers when I was younger.
Ah. So it was you. Obviously your coordination wasn't that great back then either. I spent weeks rebuilding that shed.
