No human being who can speak so eloquently about theoretical hippos is or can be considered an "idiot." Sorry.

I, personally, tried (very hard, mind you) to hit Kenny Valdespino in the face for calling me "fat ass" for two years. I suppose that two years of "on the bus" humiliation had gotten the better of me. I balled up my little fist and totally announced my intentions. He hit me square in the jaw and laid me flat in the pine straw outside the public pool area.

It was the first and last time I ever attempted to physically defend my own honor.

Oh, I'm sorry :( . I live in the deep south, so if you start talking about theoretical hippos in public, they may start a lynching! :eek: So I had to learn to stand up for logic and what knot. :p

I've been is a few fights when I was a kid.

Things are different now a days. I've got to much to lose street fighting some idiot.

All it takes is 1 lucky punch and you're out for the count while some drunk is kicking you in the head.

I'm rather proud of the fact that I've reached almost 40 years of age and have never been in a single fist fight... unless you count my older sister and I smacking each other when we were kids.

I broke 2 fingers for a guy once who grabbed my butt at the mall but that dont count, I didnt use my fists!!!:)

Why yes I would!

I avoid fights by keeping my jar of pickled 230-lb ex-Marine biceps the size of truck pistons out of sight when I have guests over. It's all fun and games until guests inadvertently see them. When they do -- out comes the nail gun. *pop* *pop*

Thank you, but I am sure that anyone who taunts or who humiliates another human being with Kenny's gusto and persistence is, as an adult, not in a happy place. I got to hand it to him, hitting a girl in the face takes some kind of guts. In retrospect, some of my feminist sensiblities were, literally, knocked into my head that day.

Gabe, under normal circumstances, pine straw is a delightful thing. It literally covers the state of South Carolina. :D

Hehe that reminds me... I have never ever hit someone with my fist ( probably because I'm female ) but once I have pulled up my knee rather energetically when I was ambushed by a creep in high school... unfortunately for him he was facing me and the space between us was about 3 inches. This was pure instinct taking over but it worked..
