Ok i'm [not] a tolerant person , I can [not] accept pretty much all of peoples decisions on how they live thier lives and the choices they make. But and this is a big but[t]. The one thing I wont tolerate is [beastality/slavery].
I've noticed during my short time as a resident of this world, that there are a number of groups and businesses that are for so called "[furries/gors]". I'm sorry if i'm missing the point here, but since when did the portrayal of [beastality/slavery] become acceptable ?
Is there something wrong with people, did the whole world go crazy and I missed it ?
I'm seriously considering boycotting second life for this very reason. So far i've read a few threads from people that are just as concerned about this as me.
How is it that people can make a business with descriptions like and I quote "This is my [masters]s business an where we live and [yiff/RP] an entertain Daddys men [slaves]." umm since when was [beastality/slavery] considered an entertainment medium ?
How anyone can call this innocent and harmless is beyond me. Knowing a victim of [beastality/slavery] abuse this deeply upsets and worries me that linden aren't taking a more pro-active stance on this. If this was the real world there would be jail cell doors slamming. I got no problem with people role playing as [animals/slaves], thats fine. If you want to do that thats your thing not mine be free to get on with it as you will. But when I see a house with spanking chairs and other such devices that cater for so called "[yiff/RP]" I get angry. It almost makes me want to join the griefers and dish out some much deserved justice. But i'm a bigger person than that, and I wont sink to that level.
Come on lindens what are you doing about this ?

I think there may be good cause to argue that it's not completely normal, but I don't think there's any real evidence that it's harmful to anyone. If there is good evidence, I haven't seen anybody present it on these forums, and I would very much like to see it if it exists. Until somebody does present reasonable proof of harm from ageplay, I think all of the people up in arms about it are just spewing highly emotional verbal diarrhea and should just stfu. |
