Anyone know if I can change where the cache for the game is stored? I'd prefer not to have it on my c:/ system disk, and it potentially has been causing serious problems.

Nope, the only way to do it is to move the entire Documents and Settings folder to another disk. Basically, it's a big pain in the ass.
