I have a new computre it was build special for gamming but now wen i log into SL no matter what avi i use it gives me trouble with rezzing, wen i put one a shoebase i wear pants wen i put on a shirt i wear gloves to, the eyelashes stay white, wen i rebake the eyelashes are black again but then change back into white again. I down logged the last drivers, tried uninstall and install sl again, its driving me nuts....does someone know the answer what could be wrong?
Other people see the shoe base as a pants to on my avi

Something is really bothering me about your specs. I think you used the system info query from SL's download site. But that PIII just does not seem correct.........as far as I know no P3 ever had 3 gigs clock speed. It might be that the site is reporting that incorrectly and your CPU is actually at least a P4 Dual Core which do have that clock speed. However it could also indicate your motherboard is seeing your CPU incorrectly and not performing like it should. Check for motherboard drivers.
You also did not tell us if your Vista is 32 bit or 64 bit. The reason that is important is that the 64 bit drivers for graphics cards are a little more quirky than the 32 bit. If you find you need to update your drivers be sure to uninstall the older drivers before you install the new ones. Helps if you disable your anti virus software durring the installation too. |

I Use a C2D 8400 2 x 3.0 ghz , its recorniged as a Old Xenon CPU , its fast enought i think , But i think the problem is the graka driver for my 9800GT Card , Enyone else has the same problem ?
The card is good recorniged though. .. |

I am having this exact same issue......
Most of my clothes which are in jacket form will have odd textures or colors extending down over my pants and hands, sometimes they are small and sometimes i am totally covered shoe bases extend up my legs, discoloring my legs to say a black or a grey color brand new computer......all top of the line parts. windows xp with service pack 3 intel core 2 duo E8500, 3.16 4 gigs ram asus - nvidia9800gtx+ 512ram windows reports hardware properly but SL reports this as my processor..... Having same problem. SL always worked fine and suddenly, my shirts are covering my whole upperbody. Can't modify. My pants are way too long too. Other people see me right sometimes, but not always. As I said : SL always worked fine and I didn't change my pc. Wonder what is going on.

FOUND THE PROBLEM!!! (For me that is...)
It's the grafics driver for NVIDIA. I was using the latest 177 version. Switched back to version 175.19 and it all works fine now. So to all you out there with this problem : check your grafics driver... and change back to whatever version, but DON't use 177. If you are not using version 177 and still have the problem, I don't know what you can do... |

Te drivers you could be right with we changed the grafic cart from a geforce 9800 GT PCI to a geforce 8500 GT RCI and installed the rigt drivers the clothing problem is fixed....yeah...laughs...but the other problem that my avi not nomaly can walk or even run is still there she keeps running in her place and then shoot a few meters forwards the envoirment rezt normaly but with downgrading the cart the fps went low.
