still new to SL but....

Im still new to SL but this is rediculious.. Why is it that after every patch the servers are down. Do the Lindens not beta their patches? I mean for a game that is a Pay to play status this is rankin in top ten for worst patch process. Dont get me wrong i enjoy it alot but I know you all feel the same frustration when you get home from work after an expected patch and find out that it is yet onces again down well passed the estimated time.

I believe today is a physical moving of their servers to a new location. I read somewhere that the network had issues when they brought it back up.

Moving machines is always complicated. The more you have to move, the worse any problem you have will be.

Be assured, there are some stressed out people trying to get everything back up as soon as possible. Patience.

BTW, the beta for 1.5 was up enough for people to come check it out and try to break it. I didn't see many people interested in helping out. I know Linden Labs does try hard, and is not trying to make you have a bad experience. They really do want you to have a good time.
