Why is my FPS so, so, so darn low?

Now there is a good cooling solution! Have half the GPU and fan sticking out of the case! :D

Hell yes.

Worst case scenario you can open that area up a little more and get a small aluminum project box from somewhere like Radio shack, then cut it up a bit and possibly a little soldering and make a good fan duct.

Actually, the ICE Heat Pipe type stuff from like an Alienware machine might work nicely.

Catherine Omega: Yes, but lots of stuff isn't listed. "Making UI harder to use than ever" and "removing all the necessary status icons" things.... there's nothing like that in the release notes. :)

If you're going to cut the case, you might as well just transfer everything to a new case. The first step in preparing to modify a case is to take everything remotely electrical or with moving parts out and set them somewhere a long ways away from the case. You really don't want to get metal filings all over your computer.

Your best bet is probably to call Dell or visit their website and see if they've got an upgrade to your video card. Failing that, get a new video card and transplant the whole computer to a new case.
