In the thread /111/25/319794/1.html Chosen Few reports that the current viewer caps the video ram at 512 mb. I believe more actually causes the viewer to run less well. I think the reason I read a while back involved more frequent crashes with more than 512 mb video ram. There might be a third party viewer that lets you use more, or you can use an older version LL viewer, but you might not actually like the result.

Which video card was it? There are some hacks available for some models of card. Rock It is a Geforce 9500GT 1GB. It was a good buy for me since i did not have to do anything like change my power supply - which is only 375watts so this card is maxxing it out. _____________________
