Terraforming Exploit??

We have see a couple of instances of huge spikes of land, hundreds of meters above the surrounding mainland. Normally terraforming is constrained on the main land. what is going on??
this has the potential to become worse than the ad farms!!!

I saw this demonstrated; I think it was Argent Stonecutter that mentioned it in the forums, although my memory might be wrong.

There was a link to a spot where it was happening. Several of us went to see it.

Well darn, it was someone else that is sensible and polite in the forums.

There was mention of sinking in to the ground in some places nearby.

The poster had deliberately made the little area demonstrate the weirdness.

I don't know what keywords one would use to find it with.

Might be a jira issue filed on it.

Restarting the sim did not fix it, even Guy Linden had trouble setting things right. This could be a major pain if LL does not fix it soon, every plot will require a manual fix
and you know how quickly LL responds when you need a manual fix (try reporting floating rotating "for sale" signs)

I haven't reread the thread, does it mention a jira issue existing on the problem?
