Stuck at Connecting To Region AGAIN

I've reinstalled the game at least 5 times, still cant get on, it keeps hanging at connecting to region, i've also changed the preferences several times to home or last location, neither is working, any other suggestions?

alright i have that same problem n its been there for like a good 2 days
i logged off @ gno island and it wont let me log in
it keeps getting stuck on connecting to region and personally i think it blows.. so if anyone feels like fixing this stupid game to where half of us can actually get on id appreciate it

thanks but ive already tried this, my last location is my home location when i last signed off sl, its not just me but several other friends who cannot get on either now

This is a problem i had too yesterday and I managed it in this way:

I found both the login locations (last and home) to be in the same sim. The sim was crashed. So I was suggested in "Live help" to login at the welcome area by entering in my web browser: secondlife://Ahern/1/1

You can also get the same effect by adding the following argument to the "Target" of the SL desktop shortcut:

-url //Ahern/1/1

That is, rightclick on SL desktop icon, select "Properties..." and find the "Target" edit window. Add the above argument inside the quotes, after the parth and name of the SL executable (C:\Program Files\...\newview.exe).

Its more work, but is persistent. You could copy the SL launcher icon off to the side and add the option to it.
