ok i would get stuck when connection to region so what you should do is before you login go to prefrences then open the general tab and on top it says login location and click my home and when you login it should work it did with me

didnt work for me either - i am stuck at the 'connecting to region' point aswell.
This is really nuts! How could they let an upgrade go this badly!
I am a systems administrator and my head would've rolled for an outage 1/10th this long...

callisto - it was also my LAST location... so i am screwed until the sim is back up - and now i guess we're into patch mode....
