In an effort to introduce differing elements among the player base. (more so that 'pure human' and 'mutant' would autoken be acceptable as citizens? They could continue in their function (even the mechanimals) with the resources available. Whereas a merchant would have to compete for their lifestyle and profit, a autoken would be maintained by the ark for its own systems. In the case of an autoken 'death' a backup teleport device could return it to a repair chamber, much as a human or mutants death in the wasteland (health areas) being teleporting symbolizing medical care whicking them off. I thought on my previous concept and I've seen it done so many times I don't know if i could bring originality to the role. Playing the part of a sentient machine, with a bit of leisure time between set duties would appeal to me. Edit: considering some sort of an autoken scout to aide researchers.

600 m!!! Phew ^^. This will definitely take a LOT of prims. For such a height, the floor must be around 100x100 meters. I guess I need a void sandbox to create such a big building ^^.

The Ataken are intended to be a "playable" race.

This is the center of the Ark we're discussing and will likely house some sort of core system, maybe even the power plant. You might also consider making one outside structure that is solid, and we can make the interior "zones" like the houses. This way we can just buy up newbie 512s or 1024s to make smaller parts of the interior, with bigger parcels for larger, more open ones. We're also considering making the power plant jut out from the center (what you made if we do it this way) but not really be accessible, and erect other administrative buildings.

Good call! I will only make 3 or 4 floors accessible while the rest will be "outsourced" to other sims. I'm currently at the island sandbox, trying to build the first floor. It won't be wise though to build the whole thing now, because then I will have troubles placing such a big building in the city. But i guess it is not a big problem to RP the construction of the tower.
Btw. I plan to make it 60x60x360 meters.

For anyone that was not online at the time, Burke was kind enough to set up some forums specifically for paradis. The URL is http://board.godswitch.com/viewforum.php?f=9.
