Hey there, everyone!

I'm not sure which forum this goes best in, since it's an event involving a game, but I've been kicking around the idea of organizing a Settlers of Second Life Tournament.

Please see my thread in the SL Games Forum for more info or to respond to the poll:

So let me know if you're interested in playing in a Settlers Tournament, either via a post in the above thread or via in-world IM. Thank you!

Settlers of SL Tournament Registration Details
06-09-2006 13:25
The Settlers of SL Tournament is happening and REGISTRATION IS OPEN!!!

FEES: L$ 50 entrance fee + L$ 11 for each tournament game

TO REGISTER, IM Selaras Partridge to say you're registering for the Settlers Tournament, and send me the L$50 entrance fee (all fees go towards the prize pot).

GAME INFO: Settlers of SL is based on the RL board game Settlers of Catan. It's played with 3-4 players on a board composed of hexagonal tiles. The object of the game is to be the first player to score 10 points. Players earn and trade for resources (prims, textures, scripts, land, lindens) which allow them to build houses, shops, and roads or hold events to gain points.

The SL version has been made by Lex Neva and Sprite Quartermass. I have a table set up at Villa Bilbao Art Gallery in Zeuzera (107, 167, 114) with some pretty good tutorials, if you'd like to check it out and try a game. All are welcome.

Join the Settlers of Second Life players group in-world for more info, and see this thread for more about the tournament:

Or you can also IM me if you have any questions. Cheers!
